アメリカ連邦政府機関一部閉鎖の思い出

【速報】アメリカ上院、債務上限引き上げで合意
結果、10月1日から16日夕方まで、両院が合意して大統領が署名するのに16日間かかりました。

2013年10月1日、日本においては消費税増税決定に関する安部首相の放送が18時にあったその日、財政の崖（債務上限）に関する民主党と共和党との話し合いのこじれに起因し、アメリカ連邦政府の一部が閉鎖され、公務員も一時帰休となりました。
事前に予想されており、またアメリカ政府の一部閉鎖は過去にも何回かあったため、それほど大きい驚きではありませんでしたが、一応記念にいろいろまとめたいなぁと思います。基本は機械翻訳で一部意味不明なところを意訳して更に意味不明にしてますｗ
また、借金ができないということで、デフォルトの懸念も出ています。直近の予想はこんな感じらしいです。

現在、債務上限の短期（6週間）引き上げ案を共和党が無条件で提出し、それで合意するのではないか、といった報道がされていますが、正式な合意はまだしていない模様。長いねぇ。
最低限、支障がない程度に限定して閉鎖しているようですが、関連してロッキードマーチンやアメリカ原子力規制委員会(NRC)などにも影響が出ています。

shutdown, and the actions the Department of the Army must now take to come into
compliance. This great disruption of our operations was made necessary after
Congress failed to enact either a FY 2014 budget or a temporary funding measure
that would have allowed normal operations to continue after the 2013 fiscal year
ended on September 30.

According to the NRC's shutdown plan, approved by the Office of Management and Budget, the agency will retain about 300 of its current 3,900 employees for "excepted functions" during a lapse of appropriations. Of that number, roughly half are resident inspectors assigned to reactor and fuel facilities. The rest are staff necessary to respond to emergency situations at NRC-licensed facilities.
